Lionheart Fitness Kids
During the volleyball session, the kids will be learning how to bump, set, serve, and spike the ball! They will practice each of these skills individually and with their teammates, as they learn how to control the ball and keep it in the air, while trying to send it to the other side of the net! These skills are taught in a fun, engaging, and non-competitive environment, all while developing important motor skills, learning the importance of teamwork, trying their best, and never giving up!
Each session Coaches will concentrate on one particular focus of the LIONHEART 12 PILLARS OF SPORTSMANSHIP. During each practice, coaches will incorporate the monthly focus into all of the games. These values are the cornerstone of the Lionheart program. Under these 12 pillars, (CONFIDENCE, RESPECT, KINDNESS, RESPONSIBILITY, THE POWER OF WORDS, DETERMINATION, POSITIVE THINKING, GRATEFULNESS, LOYALTY, HONESTY, LEADERSHIP, GENEROSITY) a Lionheart student will learn that a true athlete is someone who is kind and has respect for themselves as well as their peers.
